Pierre Barre is a Project Engineer at Planair SA since November 2021, specializing in the design and planning of solar PV installations and advising clients on renewable energy and sustainability. Previously, Pierre served as a Project Consultant at Énergie citoyenne Suisse, where guidelines for energy sufficiency were developed for cooperatives in Switzerland. Prior experience includes a Master's Thesis Project at SIG focused on exergy-based indicators for district heating, an engineer internship at Blockstrom facilitating community solar energy consumption, and various roles in construction and social work. Pierre holds a Master's degree in Energy Management and Sustainability from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, also from EPFL, along with an Erasmus exchange at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
