Aiza Abid is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth engagement and policy development. Currently serving as a Youth Engagement Specialist at Plan International Canada since October 2022, Aiza is also the Founder of Aiza's Teddybear Foundation, which provides essential items to children in need. Aiza has participated in various advisory roles, including as an Advisory Committee Member at Ascend Canada and as an intern at UNICEF East Asia and Pacific, where significant contributions were made to child protection initiatives. Previous experiences include working on resilience strategies for girls’ secondary education in collaboration with 60 Million Girls and supporting equity and inclusion efforts at the Max Bell School of Public Policy as a Research Assistant. Aiza holds a Master of Public Policy from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from McMaster University.
