Valeria Kiss MBPR (FQA) is a skilled horticultural professional with extensive experience in crop management and agricultural leadership. Currently serving as a Grower at PLACE UK Ltd since April 2022, Valeria oversees 130+ hectares of outdoor tunnel strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, along with climate strategy for a 2-hectare heated strawberry crop. Previously, Valeria held the position of Growing Manager at APS Produce from August 2016 to March 2022, focusing on irrigation, climate management, and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies for both conventional and organic crops. Valeria's expertise was further developed as a Grower and 2nd Cohort Fellow in the LSA Charitable Trust Fellowship Scheme from 2019 to 2021, aimed at nurturing future industry leaders. Earlier positions include Growers Assistant at APS Produce (2014-2016) and Pest and Disease Scout at Wight Salads Ltd. (2011-2014), managing IPM for protected edibles. Valeria completed a degree in Crop Technician, Agronomy, and Crop Science at Reaseheath College (2019-2023) and has educational foundations from the University of Debrecen and Korosi High School in Hungary.
