Ralph Hitchman is an experienced professional in transport planning and active travel, currently serving as Associate Director at PJA since March 2022. Previously, Ralph held key roles at WSP from May 2014 to February 2022, where contributions included leading projects focused on active travel and cycling, overseeing the development of major infrastructure in central London, and managing teams for project delivery. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant position at Atkins, specializing in pedestrian and cycle planning, and a consultancy role at Intelligent Space Partnership, where Ralph developed transport strategies for clients. Ralph holds a degree in Engineering, Materials Science from the University of Oxford, completed in 2006.
