Philip R. has a long and varied work experience in the field of design. Philip started their career in 2007 as a Graphic Designer for SOUTH DURHAM ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING FORUM LTD. In 2008, they moved to NRG Digital (Sunderland) as a Designer. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Web Designer for Redup Digital Media, and a Senior UI Designer and UI Designer for Ostmodern. In 2016, they returned to Reaktor as a Design Director and Product Design Lead. Philip then moved to Massive Interactive as a Lead Designer in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Design Lead for Signal Noise (part of The Economist Group) and a Product Design Lead for Idean. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Design Principal for SuperRare.

Philip R. attended the University of Sunderland from 2004 to 2007, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Graphic Communication.
