Stephen Popper is a seasoned academic and technical advisor with extensive experience in public health and research. Currently serving as a Visiting Scholar and Lecturer at UC Berkeley School of Public Health since August 2018, Stephen also holds the position of Senior Technical Advisor at PIVOT Works, Inc. since March 2020. Prior to these roles, Stephen accumulated significant expertise at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2001 to 2020, where positions included Senior Research Scientist, Research Associate, and Postdoctoral Fellow. Stephen's academic journey began at Harvard School of Public Health, completing postdoctoral work and doctoral studies from 1991 to 2000. Stephen holds a Doctorate (SD) from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Swarthmore College.
