Jelle Akkerman is an experienced professional in the tech industry, currently serving as Dev + Design at Pitch since May 2018. Jelle held the position of Interim CTO at Poolmail from December 2016 to January 2018 and founded Klekt.eu, where Jelle worked from November 2014 to November 2017. Previous roles include Senior Software Engineer and UI Designer at Fy, and Senior Software Engineer at HitFox Group. Jelle has also coached functional programming at Hackership and took a sabbatical in 2014 for self-study in Clojure(Script) and web app security. Earlier in the career, Jelle contributed as a polymath at Dream Industries and co-founded Vesper Apps, focusing on mobile and tablet web app design. Jelle’s career began as a freelancer at ▲▲ (23hoeken), providing multimedia application development and hardware hacking services. Jelle earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication & Multimedia Design from NHL Hogeschool between 2008 and 2012, following a Havo education at SG De Nieuwe Veste Coevorden from 2003 to 2008.
