Krys Ayala has extensive experience in the fashion industry, primarily in denim design. Krys is currently working as the Women's Denim Design Director at PISTOLA Denim since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Women's Denim and Wovens Senior Designer at AG Jeans from January 2019 to October 2022. From November 2015 to December 2018, Krys worked as a Womens Denim and Wovens Senior Designer at Hudson Jeans.

Before joining Hudson Jeans, Krys served as the Director of Design and Brand Innovation Leather/Denim at Sunset Leather Group from March 2013 to April 2014. In this role, they were responsible for creating concepts and finishes, presenting to major accounts, and overseeing the design process from concept to production.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Senior Designer at J BRAND, where they collaborated with the Creative Director of color and concept and wash to create fashion silhouettes. Krys was also involved in fitting and ensuring the proper execution of fit intent. Prior to that, Krys worked as a Womens Designer and Associate Designer at J BRAND.

Krys started their career as an Associate Designer at Taverniti So Jeans, where they worked closely with Jimmy Taverniti and their team in developing washes, researching shopping trends, and preparing for fashion events. Krys also gained experience as a Production Assistant at Advanced T's.

Overall, Krys Ayala brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in denim design, with a strong focus on women's fashion.

From 2001 to 2003, Krys Ayala attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College and earned an Associate's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design.
