Junqing Qiao has worked as a Software Engineer for Pison since 2021, Raytheon Technologies since 2020, and Raytheon since 2019. Prior to this, they were a Junior Researcher at the National Science Foundation (NSF) from 2017.

Junqing Qiao obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst between 2014 and 2018. Junqing then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, UMass Amherst, which they completed in 2020.
