Zeynep Urgun Zorlu has over 12 years of work experience in various roles. Zeynep began their career in 2007 as a Business Intelligence Project Manager and Corporate Strategy Development Project Manager at Pfizer. In 2010, they took on the role of Project Lead at Zorlu Center, where they actively worked with Zorlu Property Group to introduce several international brands to the Turkish market. In 2014, they became a Partner at ZMT Ventures, a Board Observer and Chief Evangelist at Pisano, a Board Observer and Marketing & Communications Advisor at Twentify, a Board Observer and Business Evangelist at Iven, a Board Observer and Strategy Advisor at Startsub.com, and a Board Observer at Deriva. In 2015, they became a Class 20 Kauffman Fellow at Kauffman Fellows, a highly sought-after two-year program dedicated to innovation investing. In 2016, they took on the roles of Chair of the Board of Directors, Board Member, and Interim Chief Executive Officer at CreatorDen.
Zeynep Urgun Zorlu obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Koç University between 2002 and 2006. Zeynep then went on to earn a Master's Degree in International Management from the University of Essex in 2007. In 2011, Zeynep obtained a Graduate Certificate in Foundations, Fundraising and Grant Making from the NYU School of Professional Studies, as well as a Collecting Fine Art Photography certification from NYU SCPS. Zeynep also obtained a CMAS Underwater Instructor certification from CMAS in 2007, a First Aid Provider certification from the American Safety and Health Institute in 2005, and an Oxygen Administrator certification from the same institution in 2005. Zeynep completed their education in 2015 with a Master's Degree in Cultural Management from Istanbul Bilgi University.
