Jean-Pascal Roche is a seasoned professional in the shipbuilding and engineering sectors with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Regional Director for Oceania at Piroui since April 2022, Jean-Pascal has also been the General Manager of Piroui Vietnam since January 2015. Previous positions include General Manager at PAPE Engineering Pte Ltd, where efforts focused on the Vietnamese Oil & Gas offshore market, and Contracting Director at COMIN ASIA PTE. LTD. Notably, Jean-Pascal led a successful turnaround at Saigon Shipyard as General Manager after the 1997 Asian crisis and played a key role in diversifying the company's operations. An engineering graduate from Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Jean-Pascal possesses a strong foundation in industrial and mechanical engineering, further enhanced by early roles such as Project Engineer during a government cooperation program.
