Eduardo Urbina Hernández

Process Quality Lead at Pirelli

Eduardo Urbina Hernández has a diverse work experience starting in 2010 as a Service Technician at Hydrocon. In this role, they were responsible for chemical water treatment, inventory control, and physical-chemical analysis. From 2012 to 2016, Eduardo worked as a Quality Inspector at Pirelli, where they focused on scrap declaration and adjustments in uniformity machines. Eduardo then advanced to the role of Finishing & Uniformity Process Technician, where they optimized processes and provided training to inspectors. Eduardo then became a Uniformity Quality Engineer, specializing in reducing scrap uniformity defects and managing quality inspectors. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Finishing Process Engineer, overseeing process control, PFMEA & Control Plan management, and MSA at Pirelli. Eduardo's next position was as a Process Quality Engineer at Continental, where they worked on scrap reduction, updating control plans, and process releases. Presently, Eduardo is employed at Pirelli again, serving as a Process Quality Lead in the Finishing & Uniformity Process. Eduardo'sresponsibilities include managing OEX's Quality Team, the Finishing Quality Team, and addressing scrap reduction, building quality process, and customer audits.

Eduardo Urbina Hernández completed their Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing from Universidad del SABES in Irapuato, Gto. between 2014 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical degree in Industrial Chemistry from CECyTEG between 2003 and 2006. In addition to their formal education, Eduardo has also obtained certifications in English proficiency at the A2 (Lower Intermediate) and B1 (Intermediate) levels from ABA English in 2023.
