Alan Munger has extensive work experience in the field of technology, specifically in roles related to DevOps and infrastructure engineering. Alan most recently worked at Pipedream as a DevOps Engineer starting in February 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at H-E-B as a DevOps Engineer from October 2019 to February 2022. Alan also worked at SpareFoot as a Senior Devops Engineer from April 2018 to October 2019.

Before SpareFoot, Alan worked at CognitiveScale as a Cloud Engineer from September 2016 to April 2018. In this role, they were responsible for setting up and maintaining Rancher Clusters, managing AWS Infrastructure, deploying Docker containers, and using Rancher Catalog to deploy applications, among other tasks.

Earlier in their career, Alan worked as a Linux Engineer at Results Generation from June 2015 to September 2016. Their responsibilities included cloud infrastructure management, server support and deployment, monitoring setup, and MySQL administration.

Alan Munger also worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at TBWA\\Media Arts Lab from September 2014 to May 2015. Their duties involved various tasks such as managing ticketing in Jira, PowerShell scripting, VMware infrastructure upgrades, and network management.

Prior to that, they served as a Contractor/Sr. Systems Engineer at IBM/Kubota from April 2014 to September 2014, and as a Sr. Systems Engineer at 4Service Inc. from December 2010 to April 2014.

Alan's career began at Barebones Networking in June 2010, where they worked as a Network Technician providing desktop and server support. Alan also worked at Your IT Center as a Helpdesk Engineer from February 2010 to May 2010, where they provided desktop and server support and set up networks for small business owners.

Alan Munger earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of South Alabama. Alan attended the university from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, they obtained a CCNA certification in April 2002, although the institution providing the certification is unknown.
