Jin Han serves as the Chief Legal Officer and Secretary at Pipe since September 2023. Previously, Jin held roles as General Counsel and Secretary at Basis Theory, and as Head of Product and Regulatory Legal at Block (Afterpay). At Scratchpay, Jin was Chief Administrative Officer, General Counsel, and Secretary, overseeing legal, compliance, HR, and customer service operations. Jin has extensive experience in the financial sector, including serving as Senior Director and Chief Lending Counsel for Square Capital at Block and as VP, General Counsel and Secretary for Klarna North America. Jin's early career includes positions at Apple as Principal Payments Counsel, supporting Apple Pay, and as Senior Corporate Counsel at MobiTV. Jin began the legal career as a Securities and M&A Attorney at prominent Silicon Valley law firms. Educational qualifications include a JD from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a BA in Philosophy, Political Science, and Classics from Indiana University Bloomington.
