Chris Larsen is an experienced professional in the field of education and community-based support, currently serving as a Community Inclusion Specialist at Pioneer Center for Human Services since June 2013. In this role, Chris facilitates mental health clients in achieving their community-based goals aligned with their Treatment Plans. Previously, Chris worked as a Program Technician and 1:1 Instructor at the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism, focusing on individualized education for students with Autism. Additional experience includes working as a Camp Counselor for children with special needs and serving as a 3rd Grade Teacher at Waukegan Public Schools, where Chris managed the education of a classroom of 27 students. Chris holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Eastern Illinois University and has a background in Film and Video Studies from Columbia College Chicago.
