Theo Gugoiu is a knowledgeable software engineer with a strong background in product development and digital health solutions. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Pinwheel since January 2025, Theo previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Paige from July 2020 to September 2024, where contributions were made to enhance digital pathology and FDA-approved AI solutions for cancer diagnosis. At Paige, management of Python microservices supporting high-volume messaging queues was a key responsibility. Prior to this, Theo was a Software Engineer at Toast, Inc. from August 2015 to May 2020, where involvement in full-stack development and scaling operations significantly contributed to company growth. Earlier experiences include software engineering internships at Minted and Work Market, as well as software tools development at ON Semiconductor. Theo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering from the University of Waterloo, obtained in 2015.
