Xiaofang Chen is a Principal Engineer at Pinterest since October 2013, specializing in ads retrieval, targeting, ranking, and homefeed ranking, as well as core infrastructure. Prior to this role, Xiaofang served as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon.com from September 2008 to September 2013, focusing on fraud detection and distributed systems. Xiaofang holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Science and Technology of China and a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Utah.
