Gita Wankel is an accomplished recruiting professional with extensive experience in global talent acquisition and internal mobility. Currently serving as the Global Head of Business Recruiting at Pinterest since April 2020, Gita leads global sales and business recruitment efforts while also overseeing international recruiting initiatives. Prior to Pinterest, Gita held significant roles at Facebook, including North America Head of Tech Recruiting, where leadership of a large team focused on tech hiring for data science and engineering roles was emphasized. Gita's earlier career includes recruitment leadership at Yammer, Google, and positions in staffing and account management at Accountants International and Apex Systems. Gita earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from California State University - East Bay.
