Martin Snyder has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the software industry. Martin is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering for Certara, where they are responsible for the Pinnacle 21, Phoenix, and RegTech portfolios. Prior to this, Martin served as the Vice President of Engineering for the Pinnacle 21 portfolio before its acquisition by Certara. Martin'sresponsibilities included leading the development and growth strategy for the Pinnacle 21 software portfolio and transitioning the engineering team to a collaborative multi-product organization.
Before joining Certara, Martin worked for Wingspan Technology, an IQVIA Company, where they held the positions of CTO/Director of Software Development and Principal Technologist & Product Manager. In these roles, they were responsible for scaling the engineering organization, leading the construction of new products, and developing the DocWay Suite of integration products. Martin also played a key role in multiple Fortune 100 implementations and global rollouts of customized solutions.
In addition to their work in the software industry, Martin has also made significant contributions to the community. Martin served as the Lead Organizer for the Philly JUG (Java User's Group), where they successfully grew the membership and established regular meetings.
Martin's earlier work experience includes founding and operating their own computer game development company, Ethermoon Entertainment, Inc., as well as serving as the Chief Technology Officer for Apricus, Inc. and a Senior Software Engineer for OneWave, Inc / Primix Solutions.
Throughout their career, Martin has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a track record of driving growth and success in the organizations they have been a part of.
Martin Snyder attended The Shipley School from 1984 to 1991. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Cornell University between the years 1991 and 1995.
