Jelmer Steenhuis is an experienced professional in project management and machine production, currently serving as the Machine Production Manager at Pink Sparrow - Experiential Fabrication since April 2021. Prior to this role, Jelmer held positions as a Project Manager at MADE Design/Build and Pink Sparrow, successfully overseeing various projects from inception to completion while maintaining budgets and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols. Notable earlier experience includes serving as Senior Manager Fabrication at Barneys New York, managing technical elements such as motion control design and CNC programming, as well as a significant tenure in project management and fabrication roles at CE SPACE PLANNING INC., Creative Engineering, and Richard Wrightman Design. Jelmer holds a BA in Film Studies and Communications from SUNY Brockport.
