Guido Barbieri is an experienced professional in the field of civil and structural engineering, currently serving as the Area Manager Nordics at Pini Group since October 2021. Prior to this role, Guido worked at AFRY for seven years, holding various positions including Tunnelling Sector Leader for both the Rivera and Lugano branches, and Project Leader. Guido’s experience also includes serving as Head of Tunnelling Design at SPEA Ingegneria Europea, where responsibilities encompassed leading the tunnelling design team, conducting feasibility studies, and overseeing maintenance plans for existing tunnels. Earlier roles included civil engineering positions at Tecnimont and STONE SpA, focusing on the design and analysis of structures and geotechnical systems. Guido holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology and a Laurea in Civil Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
