Wenxuan (Wish) Shi's work experience includes:

- From 2017 to 2019, Wenxuan worked as an Infrastructure Engineer at PingCAP, where they focused on optimizing the performance of TiKV, a distributed KV database. In 2020, they continued their work at PingCAP by improving the usability of TiKV and TiDB. In 2021, they worked on TiDB Cloud.

- In 2016, Wenxuan served as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft Asia-Pacific Research and Development Group.

- In 2015, Wenxuan was a Google Summer of Code 2015 Student at PRIVLY FOUNDATION. During this time, they implemented seamless-posting functionality for the Privly extension and applications. Wenxuan (Wish) also refactored and rewrote Privly applications to enhance testability, flexibility, and readability.

Wenxuan (Wish) Shi attended Tongji University from 2013 to 2017, where they acquired a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
