Emma Alanis currently serves as the Head of Local Partnerships at Pinemelon.com, overseeing Farmers Market operations since September 2022. Previously, Emma managed community outreach and programs at Ekar Farm, where efforts focused on establishing relationships with local partners and promoting environmental education rooted in Jewish values. Emma's experience also includes a role as a Senior Grant Researcher at ZIM Consulting, where grant writing and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives were emphasized. Emma contributed to sustainability research during an undergraduate internship at Loyola University Chicago and consulted on energy efficiency for the Archdiocese of Chicago. Additionally, Emma interned at Doi Suthep-Poi National Park, working on sustainable agricultural practices, and held roles in customer service and research at Loyola University Chicago. Emma holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Loyola University Chicago and has completed studies at Chiang Mai University.
