Rebecca Horton is a dedicated legal professional currently serving as a Staff Attorney at Pine Tree Legal Assistance, Inc., representing survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Additionally, Rebecca holds a position as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender in New Jersey. Previous experience includes legal internships at Brooklyn Defender Services, The Legal Aid Society, and UnLocal, Inc., along with roles as an Associate Resettlement Officer with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, where responsibilities involved interviewing refugees and managing resettlement cases. Rebecca holds a Doctor of Law degree from the City University of New York School of Law, a Master's degree in International Peace Studies from Universidad para la Paz, and a Bachelor's degree in Government from Skidmore College.
