John Ashley is a seasoned professional in the healthcare and rehabilitation sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member at the PINC & STEEL Cancer Rehabilitation Foundation, John has held significant leadership positions, including Head of Clinical and Patient Portfolio at Southern Cross Healthcare, Managing Director of HUR New Zealand, and Director of Strategy and Growth at Webtools. With a focus on digital health solutions and community care, John has also been instrumental as Deputy Chair of Health Informatics New Zealand and as Chair of Friendship House Trust. John’s previous roles include Chief Operating Officer – Community at The Selwyn Foundation and Chief Executive Officer at Inviga Ltd, with foundational experience at Orion Health. John holds a PGDipBus in Business Administration and Management from the University of Auckland Graduate School of Management and a BSc in Geography from The University of Auckland.
