Laura Hurtado is a Partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, where representation focuses on complex civil litigation, particularly in antitrust, unfair competition, and education matters, with extensive experience in class action litigation in both state and federal courts since January 2013. Previously, Laura served as Counsel at the United States District Court for the Northern District of California and as a law clerk to the Honorable William Alsup. Additional experience includes roles as an Attorney at the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, a law clerk at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman and the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project, and a paralegal at the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Laura holds a JD from Stanford Law School and a BA in History from Yale University.
