Matthew Oakes is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in digital content and brand management. Currently serving as the Brand and Communications Lead at Jigsaw - The National Centre for Youth Mental Health since July 2015, Matthew oversees a digital communications team and develops comprehensive communication strategies. Additionally, Matthew has worked as a freelance singer and lyricist since 2009, contributing to music for major publishers and performing vocals for video games. Previous roles include senior positions in digital content management at Macmillan Cancer Support and The Scout Association, where Matthew led teams in website redesign and content strategy implementation. Matthew began their career as Publications Editor at Loughborough Students' Union and holds a 2:1 degree in English from Loughborough University.
