Roland Bonnet has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and engineering. Roland started their career as a CEA intern at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique et aux énergies alternatives, where they worked on multisensor tracking for military usage. Roland then joined the CEA - Military Application Division as a CEA engineer. In 2015, they joined Michelin as a data scientist, focusing on data science related to customer mining activities and tire performances. Roland worked on a program called Mining Productivity Optimization, which involved predicting tire life duration based on truck parameters. Currently, Roland is working at the Pierre Fabre Group, where they started as a Data Scientist and progressed to the role of Senior Data Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Exploratory Data Science.
Roland Bonnet completed a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from Université de Bordeaux between 2009 to 2012. Roland then pursued a Master of Science in Data Science - Statistical Engineering from Université Bordeaux 1 from 2012 to 2014.
