Merry Heath is an experienced nursing leader currently serving as Chief Nursing Officer at Piedmont Fayette Hospital since June 2014, after holding the position of Director of Inpatient Services. Prior roles at Piedmont Fayette Hospital include Service Excellence Coach and Charge Nurse, where Merry was noted for leadership during successful JCAHO surveys and clinical expansion projects. With a management history that encompasses almost 90 staff members, Merry effectively eliminated agency staffing needs and achieved high patient satisfaction scores. Earlier experience includes House Supervisor at Cartersville Hospital and Staff Nurse at South Fulton Medical Center. Merry holds a Master of Science in Nursing Leadership and Organizational Management from American Sentinel College, as well as a Bachelor of Science and Associate Degree in Nursing from Clayton State University and Clayton Jr. College, respectively.
