Michael Fiedler has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D modeling and artistry. Michael most recently worked as a 3D Artist at Pie Trap Studios starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Dad at My House since November 2020.
From 2016 to 2020, Michael held the position of Character Artist at Microsoft (MINECRAFT), where they were responsible for creating characters. Michael also briefly worked as a Character Artist at BigFish from June to August 2016.
Michael's career began in 2007 at Microsoft (ACES Studio), where they worked as a 3D/Texture Artist, creating textures, models, and in-game assets for various games. Michael used programs such as 3d Studio Max, Adobe Photoshop, Product Studio, Source Depot, and in-house game engine.
Before that, they worked at Flying Lab Software as a Character Artist, creating 3D models and textures, building character rigs, and testing assets in-game. Prior to that, they worked at Camouflaj game studio as a Senior Environment Artist from April 2013 to April 2016.
Michael also has experience as a 3D Modeler/animator at Interact! Medical from July 2001 to July 2002, where they assisted in the production of 3D animations for medical procedures and created storyboards and 3D models.
At Microsoft, they also worked as an Environment Artist and Texture Artist, responsible for creating environment textures for Microsoft Flight using Adobe Photoshop.
In 2006, Michael Fiedler attended Vancouver Film School and completed a program in 3D Animation and Visual Effects. During this period, their focus was on modeling, animation, and rigging. Michael successfully finished their studies in 2007.
