Charles Doenitz is an Applications Chemist at Pacific Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) since October 2021, where responsibilities include conducting ion exchanges, spray drying, and various laboratory techniques to modify compound properties for customer needs. Previously, Charles held positions as Battery Research and Development Laboratory Technician I and II, where significant contributions included researching and patenting a process for a unique crystal phase of ion-exchanged and calcined oxide, enhancing specific capacity and safety in lithium-ion batteries. Additional experience includes working as an Analytical Laboratory Technician I, gaining expertise with numerous analytical instruments. Prior to PIDC, Charles served as a Manager at Dairy King from June 2014 to October 2021. Charles earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan between 2017 and 2021.
