Miles Harkness currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer at Pictet Alternative Advisors, a role held since March 2022, overseeing risk, compliance, and performance across hedge funds, real estate, and private equity. Prior to this, Miles Harkness was Co-Head of Risk and Managing Director at Ardian from August 2018 to February 2022, managing risk across multiple global regions. With extensive experience at UBS, Miles Harkness held several key positions including UK Chief Risk Officer for UBS Asset Management, EMEA Head of Investment Risk, and various roles focused on market and model risk. Educational credentials include a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Bristol, an MSc in Biometry from the University of Reading, and a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
