Koen de Beer is a co-founder of Pickler, where the focus is on providing evidence-based insights into the sustainability of packaging portfolios since May 2021. Previously, as a managing partner at Julian Solvae Invest, involvement included helping businesses with sustainable aspects grow by leveraging an extensive expert network. From October 2014 to April 2022, Koen worked at 3D Nodes as a Business & Process Consultant, assisting companies in strategy development and scalable business models. Koen's experience also includes a research role at the University of Portsmouth, focusing on additive manufacturing, and internships at Heineken and Philips, where operations and logistics optimization were key responsibilities. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Technology and a Bachelor’s in International Technology Management.
