Susan Besaw currently serves as the National Director of Laboratory Operations at PhyNet Dermatology LLC, a position held since January 2021. Prior experience includes roles such as System Laboratory Director at Hospital Sisters Health System from December 2013 to February 2020, Client Relations Manager at Histopathology Services, LLC, and Director of Customer Service at PLUS Diagnostics. Additionally, Susan has extensive experience at NorthShore University HealthSystem, where responsibilities included Operations Manager for Outreach Services and Cytology Manager. Earlier in their career, Susan worked as a Senior Cytotechnologist at Consolidated Medical Laboratories and held various positions in the U.S. Army Regional Medical Centers in Germany and Landstuhl. Susan Besaw holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and Cytotechnology from PennWest Clarion and a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
