Joshua Fabian is a skilled engineer currently serving as a Photonic Integrated Circuit Engineer at Photonic Inc. in Vancouver, Canada, since September 2023. In this role, Joshua is responsible for the design, simulation, and testing of innovative integrated photonic circuits aimed at applications in photonic quantum computing, along with communicating results and setting up measurement systems. Prior to this position, Joshua interned as a Photonic Design Engineer at Photonic Inc., where work focused on the design and simulation of novel photonic chip components. Additionally, Joshua gained experience as a Quantum Software Investor at CRCM Ventures, contributing to the development of a new investment thesis for quantum software start-ups. Joshua holds a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Stuttgart.
