Jan Zizka is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in robotics and computer vision. As the CEO and Co-Founder of Brightpick since November 2020, Jan has been instrumental in developing AI robots that automate order fulfillment processes in warehouses. Concurrently, as the Co-Founder and CEO of Photoneo since September 2013, Jan has overseen the advancement of innovative robotic vision technologies, including the creation of high-resolution 3D cameras that enhance machine learning capabilities. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Engineer at Micro-Epsilon, focusing on 3D reconstruction and quality inspection, and as a Software Analyst/Developer at Datapac, where Jan applied differential geometry and computer vision. Jan Zizka holds a PhD in Computer Vision from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave and a Master's in Computer Science from the same institution, complemented by a brief study at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
