Daren Dirksen has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Daren began their career as a Retail Manager at Safeway from July 2001 to June 2007. In 2008, they transitioned to the education sector as an Admissions Counselor at Grand Canyon University, where they worked until 2009. From June 2009 to October 2020, Daren served as a Minister/Pastor at Desert Breeze Community Church. In 2020, they co-founded Doctrine and Life, LLC, where they currently hold the role of Co-Owner. In 2021, Daren took on the position of Coach/Counselor at Phoenix Rescue Mission and became the Women's Basketball Coach at Tolleson Union High School.

Daren Dirksen completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Ottawa University in an unspecified year prior to 2006. Daren then pursued further education at Phoenix Seminary, where they obtained their Master of Divinity (MDiv) degree from 2014 to 2018. Additionally, Daren enrolled in Ottawa University again in 2015 to pursue a Master of Arts in Counseling, specializing in the field of Counseling. Daren is expected to complete this program by 2022.
