Edye Twer, with nearly thirty years of supplier-side experience, co-heads Phoenix’s cutting-edge Converged Technology & Media Practice, developing the company’s media efforts, including but not limited to clients in the broadcast, cable and radio network arenas. Edye is adept at developing and implementing a variety of research designs, including awareness and usage, program and promotional testing, talent and concept studies, tracking, and both behavioral and attitudinal segmentations.
She heads the Practice’s Pilot Testing research, completed for media companies prior to the new program announcements, with the results of these tests assisting network executives in selecting programs for air. Before joining Phoenix, as the senior executive in charge of the Media and Entertainment work for one of the country’s largest global market research firms, Edye led a sales and management team responsible for the sale, design, and execution of custom continuous tracking, ad-hoc quantitative projects and syndicated research.
Edye received a degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she majored in Behavioral Communications from the Annenberg School. Edye has been active in both the Audience Research Foundation (ARF), as well as CTAM (Cable Television Marketing Association).
Outside of work, Edye is an animal enthusiast. She and her husband are currently “parents” to three cats, all of whom were rescued. Edye is also a devoted Phillies fan, and can be found at most games cheering them on.
