Stephen Hampson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial operations and reporting. Currently serving as the Financial Reporting Centre Director at Phoenix Group since October 2023, Stephen previously held various senior positions at Aviva from August 2004 to October 2023, including Chief Finance Operations Officer, Global Financial Reporting Director, and UK Life Financial Reporting Director. Stephen led significant initiatives such as the integration of Friends Life into Aviva, the implementation of the Solvency II regime, and the Finance Transformation workstream, enhancing reporting quality and operational efficiency. Prior to Aviva, Stephen was a Senior Manager and Manager at PwC from September 1995 to August 2004, following a solid educational foundation from Loughborough University.
