Richard has been Group Chief Executive at One Housing since September 2017. He has a passion for housing and the role that housing associations play in supporting the most vulnerable in the society. Richard is also currently Vice Chair of the influential G15 group on housing associations.

Richard has numerous senior leadership positions in the sector. Before joining One Housing he led Spectrum Housing for five years as Chief Executive. Before Spectrum he held a number of senior roles at the housing regulator and investment agency, the Homes and Communities Agency. These included Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Programmes, where he had responsibility for a range of high-profile housing and research programmes and an annual investment fund of £5 billion.
