Sanya Somani serves as the Speech & Debate Team Captain at Phoenix Country Day School, leading the team to national success in Informative Speaking while fostering a supportive community through meetings and social media engagement. Sanya co-founded Helping Hand, a club dedicated to providing menstrual kits for foster girls and organizing community outreach initiatives. As an intern and campaign volunteer at the AZ Legislature, Sanya contributed to the successful election of three state legislators and established a voter registration club. Additionally, Sanya co-founded HealthForHER, managing significant community partnerships to support underserved women and families. Other leadership roles include serving as President and VP of Leadership for the National Charity League and leading a campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which raised substantial funds for cancer treatment and research. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at The Wharton School, Sanya's educational background includes participation in leadership programs at Wharton and Columbia University.
