Pamela Looper has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Pamela is currently working as a Software Engineer at Phlo, where they started in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Tuminds Social Media Ltd, starting in June 2006.

In addition to their professional work, Pamela has been an active volunteer at the Scottish Tech Army since August 2021, where they contribute to software development for the STA Volunteer App.

Before joining Phlo, Pamela worked as a Web Developer at DeepMiner from April 2020 to July 2022. Pamela also gained valuable experience as a Business Growth Adviser at Business Gateway from June 2013 to November 2016, specializing in HR.

Pamela has had notable positions in event management and hospitality. Pamela served as the Festival Manager at Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Ltd from June 2009 to June 2011, overseeing project management, budgeting, stakeholder management, and marketing. Additionally, they were the President of the Highland Business Women's Club from March 2009 to March 2010.

Earlier in their career, Pamela co-started and managed the Cluny Bank Hotel, a 4-star establishment. Pamela was responsible for various aspects of the business, including project management, HR, and implementing quality management procedures.

Prior to their hotel venture, Pamela worked as an HR Policy Adviser at UWV (then GAK), advising management on personnel issues, developing employee benefits policies, and redesigning HR reference materials.

With experience in software engineering, management, entrepreneurship, and HR, Pamela brings a well-rounded skill set to their work.

Pamela Looper's education history includes a BA Degree in Law & HR from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, from 1987 to 1992. Pamela also attended CodeClan in 2019, where they obtained a diploma in Software Development, SCQF Level 8, specializing in Computer Software Engineering. In addition, Pamela earned the SFEDI Diploma in Business and Enterprise Support from SFEDI Awards - The Awarding Organization for Enterprise and Enterprise Support in October 2014.
