Sean Smith is a seasoned professional in the refining industry with extensive experience at Phillips 66 since August 2009, where roles have included General Manager, Refinery Operations Manager, and Manager of Global Optimization. As General Manager, Sean oversees the refinery complex, managing a budget of approximately $600MM and a workforce of around 1300 employees, while achieving significant accolades such as the AFPM Elite Gold Safety Award in 2022. Previous roles at ConocoPhillips and ExxonMobil involved critical engineering positions that contributed to major process advancements. Additionally, Sean has military leadership experience as a Platoon Leader and Battery Commander in the Army National Guard. Sean holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University.
