Scott Brombosz, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in the field of chemistry and materials science, currently serving as Technical Director at Phillips 66 since August 2016, where responsibilities include effectively communicating complex technical concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders. Previously, as Coking Projects Team Lead, Scott managed laboratory operations and safety while continuing foundational research in lithium-ion battery anode materials. Scott's career began at Argonne National Laboratory, progressing from Assistant Chemist to Post-doctoral Chemist, focusing on lithium-ion battery additive development and synthesis of advanced materials. Scott holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by post-doctoral studies in Materials Chemistry at Argonne National Laboratory and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Illinois Wesleyan University.
