Roland Janssen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the chemicals and automotive industries. Currently serving as General Manager of Global Chemicals at Phillips 66 since July 2023, Janssen is responsible for the global Chemicals business's bottom-line performance and strategic vision. Prior roles include Vice President Energy and Managing Director Americas at Borealis, where Janssen led strategic objectives and held full P&L responsibility for Borealis Compounds Inc. and Borealis Brazil S. Additionally, Janssen has held key leadership positions at Borouge and Dow Chemical, with a strong background in market strategy and operational excellence. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire and HAN University of Applied Sciences, respectively.
