Dimitris Tsapogas is a Greek national who currently serves as a board member at Philippos Nakas SA. Dimitris has over 12 years of experience in the fields of auditing, assurance, and consulting.

Tsapogas began their career in 2008 as a supervisor for Assurance Services at Grant Thornton Greece. In this role, they were responsible for leading and executing audit engagements for a variety of clients, including public and private companies across a range of industries. Dimitris also provided consulting services on issues related to financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.

In 2012, Tsapogas left Grant Thornton to join Korres Natural Products as the Group Internal Auditor. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, consulting on the development of the internal controls system, and developing and executing the annual audit plan. Dimitris also conducted special investigations, financial audits, and due diligence assignments in Greece and abroad.

Tsapogas left Korres Natural Products in 2013 to join Mazars as an Associate Director. In this role, they were responsible for leading and executing audit engagements for a variety of clients in Greece and Cyprus. Dimitris also provided consulting services on issues related to financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Tsapogas has been a board member at Philippos Nakas SA since 2017.

Dimitris I. Tsapogas has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business. Dimitris also has a Master's degree in Applied Risk Management - Internal Audit from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Dimitris is certified by IIA-The Institute of Internal Auditors in COSO Internal Control Certificate and by The Institute for Internal Controls in Certified Controls Specialist (CCS) and Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA).
