Vladimir Markin is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Senior Counsel at Philip Morris International since September 2014, with a focus on Sales Strategy and Distribution & Corporate Functions. Prior to this role, Vladimir worked as Counsel at DLA Piper from March 2012 to September 2014, and held the position of Of Counsel at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from July 2005 to October 2011. Vladimir's legal career began as an Associate at Coudert Brothers LLP from September 1997 to July 2005, and Vladimir also served as Deputy Director at the South Russia Privatization Center in 1994. Vladimir holds an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law and a Law Degree with high honours from Rostov State University.
