Gaurav Khaitan is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in tax strategy, compliance, internal controls, and risk management. Currently serving as the Head of Tax at Philip Morris International since January 2015, Gaurav leads the tax function and collaborates with senior management to align tax strategies with the company's objectives. Previously, Gaurav held various roles, including Controller for Accounts, Tax & Secretarial where responsibilities included managing accounting compliance and enhancing internal controls. Gaurav's earlier experiences feature leadership positions at Snapdeal, Protiviti Consulting, Carrefour, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Sahni Natarajan & Bahl, where expertise ranged from risk assurance to internal audits. Gaurav holds a Chartered Accountant designation, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
