Lynn Fields Harris has dedicated their career to improving the lives of older adults. Lynn is currently a board member of the Philadelphia Corporation for Aging, and previously served as the President and CEO of Self-employed, a consultancy specializing in aging services.
Before their work in the private sector, Lynn spent 15 years as the Executive Director of Center in the Park, a community center that provides programs and services for older adults in Philadelphia. Under their leadership, Center in the Park became accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers.
Lynn is a recognized expert in aging services, government and community relations, nonprofit management and leadership, and advocacy. Lynn has been elected Chair-Elect of the National Council on Aging's National Institute of Senior Center's Executive Committee. Lynn's commitment to improving the lives of older adults has made their a powerful advocate for positive change.
Lynn Fields Harris has a Master's in Public Administration from Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and a degree in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph's University. Lynn is also a facilitator for the Reframing Aging Initiative at the Gerontological Society of America.
