Chantel Batista is an Associate Attorney at Phelps Dunbar LLP since September 2022, previously serving as a Summer Associate at the same firm in 2021. Chantel gained legal experience as a Law Clerk at White & Twombly, P.A., and completed a legal internship at the Law Office of Ricardo Morales, PLC. Prior to pursuing a law career, Chantel worked as a Reporter/MMJ at WJHL, where skills in relationship-building, story production, and sports reporting were developed. Academic achievements include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Miami.
